Dr. Suzie has 10 years of experience working as a veterinarian, including time in general practice, non-profit organizations, and spay and neuter clinics. Before attending veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary assistant for six years, where her passion for animal care began.
Originally from Northern California, Dr. Suzie earned her veterinary degree from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. During her time there, she had the unique opportunity to work with a wide variety of species—performing procedures on kangaroos, spending time with quokkas on Rottnest Island, and treating kookaburras and even venomous snakes.
Dr. Suzie has a special interest in canine rehabilitation and acupuncture and is close to completing certifications in both areas. She also has a strong interest in animal behavior and enjoys helping pets live happier, healthier lives.
At home, Dr. Suzie is the proud owner of an Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees puppy and three cats, who—surprisingly—all live happily together (for the most part)!
